Privacy Policy
Mise is currently in an MVP rollout to a small group of early users. The formal privacy policy is being drafted. This page describes our current practices in plain language; the canonical version will replace it once finalized.
What we collect
When you sign in to the Mise mobile app, we store the basic profile fields your authentication provider (Auth0) returns to us: your email address, display name, and (if you sign in via a social provider) your profile picture. We do not ask you for additional personal information.
When you import a recipe, we record the video URL you submit and the intermediate artifacts our pipeline produces — transcripts, frame annotations, the structured recipe, and any health- or skill-related metadata. These are tied to your account.
We also collect basic diagnostic information you can review yourself at any time under Settings → About in the app, and copy into support emails when reaching out.
Where it lives
All Mise data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, D1, R2, KV) in the United States. Video downloads for processing transit through our extraction pipeline and are not shared with third parties beyond the AI providers needed to transcribe and analyze the content.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers in the app.
- We do not share your account with anyone outside our team.
Deleting your account
You can delete your Mise account at any time from within the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile from our authentication provider and disassociates your saved recipes, imports, and preferences from your identity. We retain extracted-recipe content under an anonymized identifier so it can be used to improve future versions of the product.
