Terms of Service

Mise is currently in an MVP rollout. The formal Terms of Service are being finalized. This page summarizes the basics of what to expect; the canonical version will replace it once finalized.

What Mise is

Mise is a service that converts cooking videos from third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others) into structured, health-scored recipes adapted to your skill level. The service is provided as-is while we iterate; expect bugs, latency, and the occasional rough edge.

Content rights

Recipes are derived from videos published by their respective creators on third-party platforms. The underlying content remains the property of those creators. Mise's extracted artifacts (transcripts, structured ingredients, health scores, skill adaptations) are tools to help you learn the dish — please credit the original creators when sharing what you make.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Mise to violate the terms of service of any third-party platform we import from (e.g. bulk-scraping content you do not have permission to access).
• Use Mise to import content that you do not have a personal right to view.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service in ways that affect other users.

Account deletion

You may delete your Mise account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.
